This website uses no advertising trackers or visitor analytics scripts. Your language choice is remembered for this visit, not permanently.

We use the contact details and messages you send us to reply to and handle your enquiries. For privacy questions, email info@decisioncue.com.

What stays on your device

Meow does not keep a browsing-history list. When you close it normally, it clears website sign-ins and temporary website data, including in Extensions mode. Your settings, bookmarks and downloaded files stay available. A forced shutdown may interrupt cleanup; Extensions mode retries cleanup before browsing on the next start.

Your imported extensions and their own settings stay on this computer. Website sign-ins and temporary website data are cleared when Meow closes normally; some extensions may need you to sign in again. Extensions may keep or send data under their permissions and privacy notices. Meow does not sync this data to a cloud account.

Imported extensions and their own saved data stay available after closing. To remove them, use Settings > Extensions > Clear saved extension profile. This also removes the imported extensions. The portable version keeps Meow data in the MeowData folder beside the program.

What is sent online

System Audio Input can supply system playback to a website you choose instead of microphone input, including sounds from other applications, calls or people. Audio sent to a website is processed by that recipient under its own practices. Floating Mirror processes the selected webpage region locally. Using these functions does not itself send audio or screen content to Decision Cue. Check the input mode and recipient; a website permission does not provide legal consent from other people.

Service requests

Requests for Start content, release or security information and updates depend on the applicable release and configuration. Hosting, download-delivery and network-security providers receive connection and operational information, such as IP addresses, request headers and error records. Email providers handle the correspondence you send. These service requests do not include browsing history, bookmarks, system audio or Mirror content.

Limits of protection

Meow's protection does not cover downloaded files, printed copies, operating-system records or other apps. Screen privacy cannot block every way of capturing or recording a screen.

The installer records the accepted English Terms version, content hash and language locally. This record is not uploaded as analytics and does not identify the person who used the device. Uninstalling Meow may not remove every local setting, file or acceptance record.

Translations and summaries are provided for reference. In the event of any inconsistency, the English version prevails only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Mandatory local-language requirements, consumer rights and other non-waivable rights remain unaffected.

Contents — Privacy Notice

This notice describes personal information processed in connection with Meow, decisioncue.com and decicue.com. The operator and, where applicable, controller is the natural person who owns and operates the Decision Cue brand and distributes Meow. Decision Cue is a brand name, not a separate incorporated legal entity. Privacy enquiries may be sent to info@decisioncue.com.

LOCAL BROWSER DATA

By default, ordinary websites share an in-memory session during a Meow run. Optional Extensions mode uses a local profile that supports installed extensions. In either mode, Meow requests clearing of website cookies, sign-ins, website storage and temporary caches on normal shutdown. In Extensions mode, it repeats website-data cleanup before extensions or websites start on the next run, including following an interrupted shutdown. Installed extensions, their own origin storage and locally stored extension settings are retained. Website-based sign-in data is cleared even if an extension relies on it, so some extensions may require you to sign in again. Enabling or disabling Extensions mode takes effect after closing and reopening Meow. Meow does not restore open tabs or maintain a browsing-history list. Start uses a separate session. General settings, bookmarks, cached Start content, downloads and deliberately saved files may remain. Operating-system, network, DNS, security-software and website records are outside this boundary. Closing Meow is not secure erasure of every trace or a promise of anonymity.

Extensions mode is off unless you enable it after the in-app data-retention notice. Turning it off changes the website profile on the next run; it does not erase installed extensions or their retained data. Removing an extension stops that extension but does not necessarily erase data previously saved by it. To remove the saved local extension profile, use Clear saved extension profile in Extensions settings, confirm deletion, then close and reopen Meow. This removes imported extensions and that profile's saved data while retaining general settings, bookmarks and downloaded files. It does not remove provider records, operating-system backups or other external traces. Uninstalling Meow can also leave local data on the device. A device administrator or anyone with access to your operating-system account may be able to access locally retained data.

NETWORK OBSERVATION AND PORTABLE EDITIONS

Not keeping a Meow browsing-history list does not make network activity invisible. An HTTP debugging proxy or other network observer may record connection times and destination domains while you browse. Unencrypted HTTP can expose full URLs and content. HTTPS normally encrypts paths and content in transit, but a proxy using an interception certificate trusted by your device may decrypt them. Closing Meow or clearing its local data cannot delete records already held by a proxy, network operator, website, operating system or security product. A VPN does not guarantee protection from monitoring software or an administrator on the device. Meow does not remove external logs, alter system trust settings or promise to bypass monitoring.

Normal-shutdown cleanup covers Meow website cookies and authentication state, local storage, IndexedDB, service workers, website cache storage and regenerable caches. Installed extensions and their own stored data are excluded so that extensions and their settings remain available. An extension may itself save information about visited sites or send it to its provider under its permissions; Meow website-data cleanup cannot erase those separate copies. A crash, forced termination, cleanup failure, operating-system paging, backup, security logging or another component may leave traces; clearing is not forensic secure erasure. Downloads and deliberately saved files are not removed by this cleanup.

A portable ZIP edition does not require an installer but still runs Windows executable files. It keeps Meow settings, its local Terms acceptance receipt and any opted-in Extensions-mode profile in the MeowData folder beside the program. That folder contains personal information when you choose persistent features; moving or copying the folder moves those files. Some protected sign-in information may depend on the original Windows account or device and may require signing in again after a move. Operating-system temporary files, security records and files saved elsewhere are outside that folder. Portable does not mean record-free or able to run where execution is prohibited. Portable updates are manual; no installer or automatic update runs on exit.

THIRD-PARTY EXTENSIONS

For clarity, clearing Meow website data is not the same as clearing extension data. An installed extension may keep its own website-related records under its granted permissions even after website cookies and storage have been cleared. Disabling it stops future execution in Meow but does not erase its saved local records or data held by its provider. Clear saved extension profile removes the imported extensions and their local profile; rights requests about provider-held information must also be addressed to that provider.

Meow does not preinstall third-party extensions. You may select a downloaded signed compatible extension package (.crx) for local verification and import, or provide that extension's supported store-page link. Retrieving an extension from a store link or checking for an extension update contacts the corresponding Google or Microsoft distribution services with the selected extension identifier, browser version and ordinary connection information. Local file verification does not itself contact those distribution services. Meow verifies the package signature and identifier and presents that version's declared permissions and website access before installation. A valid signature identifies the package's signing key and protects its integrity; it does not establish safety, compatibility, legal compliance or distribution-service approval for an arbitrary imported file. Meow does not import another browser's cookies, passwords or extension profiles, or synchronize your extension data to a Meow or third-party cloud account. Where an extension uses the sync-storage compatibility interface, Meow stores that data locally instead of providing cross-device synchronization. An extension may separately provide its own account or synchronization service.

Installed extensions may read or change accessible website content, process cookies, send information to their own providers, display operating-system notifications or use other capabilities within their permissions. Those notifications can appear outside Meow's protected windows. Review the publisher, permissions and the extension provider's terms and privacy notice. The ability to import an extension is not an endorsement or a guarantee of compatibility. Accounts, subscriptions, data retention, international transfers and processing by the extension's provider are subject to that provider's practices and applicable law. Meow does not receive your extension account password merely because you sign in to that extension.

A supported third-party VPN extension configures the network route for the Extensions-mode Meow website profile only. It does not provide a system-wide VPN, protect other applications, or route the separate Start session and Meow's own package-download or update requests. Meow does not guarantee anonymity or prevention of every DNS, IPv6, WebRTC or connection leak. When a supported VPN is enabled or restored, a bounded HTTPS request to api.ipify.org may establish proxy authentication; that service receives ordinary connection information through the configured proxy, and Meow does not send that response to Decision Cue. The local extension host may use proxy-authentication credentials supplied by that extension in memory to answer the owning proxy's authentication challenge; it does not log them or send them to Decision Cue. Disabling or removing the VPN explicitly returns this profile to ordinary networking. If a saved extension or proxy configuration cannot be verified on startup, Meow blocks that profile's website networking until the issue is resolved or you choose ordinary browsing mode.

The Windows installer stores the accepted English Terms version, content hash and language locally. This receipt does not verify a person's identity and is not uploaded as analytics. Uninstalling Meow may not remove every local setting, file or acceptance record. The acceptance receipt does not establish agreement to materially different future terms.

AUDIO, SCREEN PRIVACY AND FLOATING MIRROR

System Audio Input processes supported system-playback audio on your device so that a website or browser workflow you choose may receive that audio instead of an ordinary microphone source. System playback may include audio from applications, notifications, calls and other people. Check the selected input mode, source and recipient before using a website audio workflow.

Decision Cue does not receive system audio merely because System Audio Input is used. Audio that you transmit to a website or Third-Party Service is received and processed by that recipient according to its own functionality, terms and privacy practices.

Floating Mirror processes the selected webpage region locally for display. Screen Privacy uses supported device or operating-system capture-protection mechanisms and cannot prevent every capture method. Decision Cue does not receive screen content merely because Screen Privacy is enabled.

Meow does not send browsing content, system audio, screenshots or Floating Mirror images to Decision Cue for advertising analytics, behavioral profiling or AI training. Content you voluntarily include in an enquiry or security report is handled as described below.

A browser or website permission does not constitute legal consent from another person whose voice, personal information or content may be transmitted.

NETWORK REQUESTS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS

Websites you visit and the search provider you select receive requests, search queries and information you choose to submit. They and your network or DNS providers can receive connection details, including IP address. Meow itself is not a VPN service; optional third-party VPN extensions have the limited scope described above.

Meow may make network requests to Decision Cue-controlled services and service providers to obtain Start content, release information, security information, software updates or other functionality described in the applicable release. Availability of a particular request or service depends on that release and its configuration. These requests expose ordinary network information such as IP address, request headers, timestamps and software or platform information to the receiving provider.

These service requests do not include browsing history, bookmarks, system audio, screenshots or Floating Mirror content. A feature that changes this data flow requires an applicable disclosure and any consent required by law before that processing begins.

We use website hosting, content-delivery and network-security providers to deliver and protect the official websites; software-release hosting and download-delivery providers to distribute official releases; and email hosting and message-delivery providers to handle correspondence. Website and download providers may process IP addresses, request headers, timestamps, download requests and security or error information. Network-security and delivery providers may receive browser network-error reports. Email providers process sender and recipient details, message content, attachments and delivery or security records.

The current official websites use Cloudflare for hosting, content delivery and network security, GitHub for release downloads, and Zoho Mail for correspondence. These providers receive information necessary for their respective services as described above. Google and Microsoft receive requests when you choose the corresponding extension distribution service; an extension's own publisher may receive information separately. A provider may process information under its own terms as well as any applicable arrangements with Decision Cue. Merely using a named provider does not imply a particular international-transfer safeguard or that its operational records can be erased by closing Meow.

The official websites contain no Decision Cue advertising trackers or visitor-analytics scripts. This does not mean that delivery providers keep no operational records. Website language choice is temporary for the visit; the desktop language preference can be saved locally.

ENQUIRIES, PURPOSES AND LAWFUL BASES

If you contact us, we process the contact details, message, attachments and technical details you voluntarily supply to respond, investigate a reported problem, handle a rights request, administer authorizations or protect our services. Do not send passwords, access tokens, confidential third-party material or unrelated personal information. Providing information is voluntary, but we may be unable to handle a request without the information reasonably needed for that request. We do not sell personal information or use browser activity for targeted advertising.

Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, responding to a request for support, business authorization or other action requested by you may be necessary to take steps at your request or perform an applicable agreement.

Service security, fraud and abuse prevention, vulnerability investigation, service administration and ordinary enquiry handling may rely on Decision Cue's legitimate interests where permitted by law and where those interests are not overridden by applicable individual rights.

Processing may be necessary to comply with legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Where consent is required, consent will be requested separately and may be withdrawn prospectively. Accepting the Terms or acknowledging this notice is not blanket consent to personal-data processing.

Relevant information may be shared with professional legal or security advisers, authorities or other recipients where necessary for a lawful investigation, legal obligation or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Such disclosure remains subject to applicable law.

RETENTION, TRANSFERS AND SECURITY

Local settings, bookmarks and chosen files remain under your control until removed. In-memory website sessions end when Meow closes, subject to the trace limitations above. Extensions-mode website data is subject to the normal-shutdown and next-start cleanup described above; installed extensions and their own stored data remain until removed. Enquiry, authorization and security-report information is retained for the time necessary to handle the matter and to meet applicable recordkeeping, dispute or legal requirements. Retention is assessed by reference to the nature and sensitivity of the information, its processing purpose and applicable limitation or retention periods. Provider operational logs and backups have their own retention arrangements.

Service providers may process information outside your country, in countries whose privacy laws differ from yours. For information about the destination and applicable safeguards for a transfer relevant to your information, including how to obtain a copy where applicable, contact info@decisioncue.com. We do not represent that a particular adequacy decision, contract or certification applies to every transfer. Transfers must have any lawful basis and safeguards required by applicable law.

The release does not use Decision Cue browsing-based automated decision-making to determine a person's eligibility for employment, credit or another similarly significant service. This statement does not describe automated decisions made by websites or extensions you choose to use. If an incident involving personal information processed by Decision Cue requires notification to individuals or regulators under applicable law, Decision Cue will follow those requirements; this is not a representation that every incident can be prevented or detected immediately.

No browser, network or storage system is perfectly secure. Technical measures address particular risks and cannot eliminate every risk.

YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a competent regulator. Contact info@decisioncue.com with enough information to locate the relevant enquiry; provide no more identity information than reasonably necessary. Rights are subject to lawful exceptions and do not require us to create browsing records that we do not hold. Nothing limits non-waivable rights or applicable statutory response deadlines.

Right to object: where processing relies on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation where applicable law provides that right. Send the objection to info@decisioncue.com. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

You may complain to the relevant supervisory authority, including the Hong Kong Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, the UK Information Commissioner's Office, or the competent authority in an applicable EU jurisdiction.

CHILDREN

Meow is not directed to children under 16 and has no age-verification service. A statement in terms is not parental consent. If you believe a child has sent personal information to Decision Cue, contact us so the matter can be assessed and handled as required by law.

CHANGES AND LANGUAGE

Material changes to processing require appropriate notice and any renewed consent required by law. Posting a changed notice does not create consent to undisclosed processing. If a translation or summary differs, the full English text controls only to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory language requirements, consumer rights and non-waivable local interpretation rules remain applicable.
